I liked the O'Connel station better than the main train station. I really enjoyed the Northern Ireland perspective on the conflicts”

John and Sheila were fantastic as our tour guide and driver respectively. John even helped our girls get a cultural exchange by arranging for them to ride the train with some local Irish kids. Probably the best tour we went on during our time in Ireland.”

“Long day, but our guide John was great! He met us at Houston Station and was with us the entire day back to Dublin, even helping us navigate our way to the LUAS tram so we could safely get back to our hotels. The weather for the trip wasn’t ideal, but it was still absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed it all. One last thing I’ll say- we’ve been on quite a few tours before. Oftentimes it involves a guide stopping, letting you out to explore while he goes and grabs a cuppa or pint. Not John. He was with us, showing and talking with us on the history, famous citizens…”

“We wasted a day. We were booked on the Sustainable Connemara and Galway Bay Rail Tour from Dublin. However, our train was 15 min late and the tour bus would not wait. The guide on the bus said they couldn’t wait and our only option was to take another tour which included things we already did on another tour the day before and didn’t include Kylemore Abbey, which was the reason we signed up for that tour in the first place. She was not very pleasant. There is an earlier train from Dublin to Galway and I really think you should consider that earlier train rather then just throw customers…”

Reviews of this trip were excellent and it lived up to its reputation. They loved Ireland and this was a good way to see the west coast without having to drive. The guides were excellent. Our tour guide was first class, fun and very knowledgeable. The train trip was easily managed and overseen by company representatives all the way. They kept us informed and never wondering about the trip details, meeting points, etc. Excellent trip and my wife and I enjoyed it immensely. I would do it again.”
